GAME CHANGER

GAME CHANGER is a transformative employability and life skills programme designed to support young people aged 14-25 in East London by aligning their skills and interests with career opportunities.

This initiative aims to assist those enrolled in education or at risk of dropping out, with a special emphasis on disadvantaged youth, including care leavers and individuals with learning challenges. Building on The Trust’s decade-long experience in delivering education and mentoring programs, GAME CHANGER aims to provide life-changing impact through individualised support and extensive resources. Participants will benefit from The Trust's network, including mentoring, Club Partners, youth activities, educational opportunities, and insights into sports and various industries.

Programme Highlights:

Personalised Mentoring: Over the course of a year, participants will receive one-on-one mentoring to assess their skills, interests, and goals. This support will help them create a vision board outlining their aspirations for the future.

Self-Discovery with Cutting Edge Behavioural Science tool: Each participant will gain access to a behavioural science tool, a digital resource that reveals their unique strengths, talents, motivations, and thriving zones. This insight will be pivotal in guiding their journey.

Comprehensive Support: Participants will engage in monthly check-ins, where they will learn to create and execute detailed action plans, ensuring they stay on track to achieve their goals.

Career Exploration: Students will explore various career paths, researching opportunities, institutions, and support networks. This includes insights into the sports and various industries through visits, Q&A sessions, volunteering opportunities, and shadow days.

Well-being and Mindset: The program includes tools and strategies for mental health and well-being, fostering a growth mindset, overcoming the fear of failure and developing a selfcare plan.
